Domaine Michel Lafarge

Domaine Michel Lafarge is a historic and highly respected wine estate located in Volnay, within Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. Renowned for its elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the domaine has been a pioneer in biodynamic viticulture and traditional winemaking practices.​

Domaine Lafarge adheres to a traditional, minimalist winemaking style. Grapes are 100% destemmed, with fermentation lasting about two weeks. The wines undergo aging in oak barrels, with minimal use of new oak (around 5% for most wines) to preserve the purity of the fruit and expression of terroir .​
